 d as an aid in preparing for both ARDMS an ARRT registry exams. It wil
 l provide an opportunity to learn ultrasound imaging techniques and to
  upgrade your skills in this increasingly demanding role. Ultrasound h
 as proven to be a very valuable and cost-effective tool for visualizin
 g cystic and solid structures in the breast. Ultrasound provides a com
 plementary imaging technique to mammography and together they provide 
 improved detection of breast cancer. Special knowledge and skill is ne
 eded to fully utilize the capabilities of breast ultrasound. This semi
 nar will provide increased knowledge of the technical and clinical asp
 ects of breast ultrasound and an overview of the basic principles and 
 concepts of ultrasound. Growth in providing full service women’s hea
 lth services includes efficient and thorough ultrasound imaging examin
 ations.\nThis program provides 8 hours of SDMS continuing education cr
 edit for sonographers and 8 hours of Category A credit for radiologic 
 technologists. A certificate of attendance will be provided to each in
 dividual upon completion of the seminar. Individuals must attend the e
 ntire seminar to receive full credit. Credit is awarded for sonographe
 rs and radiologic technologists as SDMS or ARRT Category A Credit appr
 oved by the SDMS, and credit from various licensure states.\n\n\n\nINS
