 es the two-dimensional morphologic assessment of mammography with the 
 soft-tissue signal characterization of MRI, adding the distinct advant
 age of angiogenesis evaluation. By definition, cancers invoke new bloo
 d-vessel growth — a feature that is exploited by contrast-enhanced M
 RI. It also sets the modality apart in the range of tools used to diag
 nose and stage breast cancer. Yet, learning the MRI appearance of diff
 erent histologies and differentiating them from benign causes of tissu
 e enhancement is a nuanced and complex task.\n\nThis course incorporat
 es a detailed synopsis of breast MRI science, technique, and interpret
 ation based on more than 20,000 cases of experience. It also explains 
 its place within the milieu of total breast imaging and care. Numerous
  “live” case discussions are included to supplement the course lec
