  hot topic. It is proving to be a key tool in the diagnosis and treatm
 ent outcomes of osteoporosis. There are an estimated 44 million Americ
 ans affected by osteoporosis each year. The cost of managing the conse
 quences of this disease cost the health care system in the United Stat
 es billions of dollars. The inclusion of bone densitometry as a reimbu
 rsable Medicare procedure has focused attention on who is performing t
 he procedures and on personnel training requirements. This comprehensi
 ve training program will prepare you to meet and exceed the current tr
 aining requirements. Every aspect of principles, theory, practical kno
 wledge and skills to perform bone densitometry will be highlighted. Th
 is course will meet the needs of those new to the field or those wishi
 ng to expand their knowledge beyond the “how to’s”.\nThe compreh
 ensive program was developed by an ARRT registered and ISCD credential
 ed densitometrist and includes topics that will assist those intereste
 d in credentials through the International Society of Clinical Densito
