 be able to:\n\n1. Explain the use of MSK sonography for diagnosis and 
 ultrasound-guided interventions for rheumatology, sports medicine, and
  physical medicine and rehabilitation applications.\n2. Describe techn
 iques and protocols for performing shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, knee, 
 ankle and foot U/S exams and hernia evaluation (hot topic!).\n3. Ident
 ify sonographic appearance of commonly seen pathology of the shoulder,
  knee, elbow, wrist, hand, ankle and foot.\n4. Discuss the indications
  and findings for musculoskeletal hip and spine sonography.\n5. Perfor
 m injection and aspiration techniques and discuss potential future app
 lications (hot topics!).\n6. HOT! Review musculoskeletal ultrasound ca
 se studies in interactive interpretation session format.\n7. Increase 
 the participant’s knowledge to better perform and/or interpret MSK u
 ltrasound exams.\n8. Apply the information discussed in a clinical set
 ting, ideally under supervised conditions until an acceptable level of
