 Discuss advanced techniques for assessment of valvular disease includi
 ng 3D imaging and quantification.\n2. Explain and apply advanced techn
 iques including 3D for evaluation of left ventricular systolic functio
 n.\n3. Increase knowledge base in stress echo testing including supine
  exercise bike, hemodynamic assessment and correlation with other tech
 niques.\n4. Discuss how a comprehensive TEE exam is utilized for poten
 tial cardiac source of emboli.\n5. Describe the role of echocardiograp
 hy for post surgical evaluation of heart valves, CHF and cardiac inter
 vention procedures.\n6. Explain the correlation of complementary cardi
 ac imaging modalities such as CT and nuclear medicine.\n7. Increase pa
 rticipant’s knowledge to better perform and/or interpret cardiac ult
 rasound exams.\n8. Apply the information discussed in a clinical setti
 ng, ideally under supervised conditions until an acceptable level of p
 roficiency has been achieved.\n\nCourse Topics:\n\n- Adult congenital 
 heart disease\n- Hemodynamics and correlation of cath and echo\n- Adva
 nced valvular assessment\n- Post surgical evaluation of heart valves\n
 - LV quantification and 3D applications\n- 3D workstations\n- Interact

 ar medicine\n- Role of echo in intervention: Septal ablation, intra-ca

 th a min. of 6 months experience interpreting and/or performing adult
