 annual conference that ACR provides as an educational service in the f
 ield of breast imaging, including breast cancer screening and treatmen
 t.\n\nObjectives:\nAfter the course, attendees will be to:\n\n* Identi
 fy the appropriate imaging modalities for screening women at high risk
  for developing breast cancer, and ways to apply these modalities to r
 educe risk. [Pre- and post-activity questions could be variations of t
 his wording.]\n* Illustrate the basic and more advanced principles of 
 breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) interpretation and lesion eval
 uation, and the pathologic correlations to breast MRI lesions.\n* Desc
 ribe the technical and display advances in breast MRI, including 3T ma
 gnets and more sophisticated CAD applications.\n* Report on the status
  of digital mammography, including image optimization, interconnectivi
 ty issues with PACS and RIS systems, workstation design and adaptation
 s to digital mammography, and newer digital techniques such as tomosyn
 thesis and CAD.\n* Relate the latest information regarding emerging br
 east imaging technology.\n* Interpret the new role of breast imagers a
 s clinicians, and learn about the new responsibilities they assume wit
 h that role.\n* Evaluate the current status of MQSA regulations, and g
 overnment plans such as pay-for-performance for reimbursing breast ima
 ging services.\n* Describe the progress of the Centers of Excellence p
 rogram, and other ways to develop Best Practices standards within thei
 r own practice settings.\n* Report on their participation in case-base
 d education through the deployment of electronic audience response tec
