DESCRIPTION:Abdominal Ultrasound (5 Days)\nThis five-day program is di
 rected toward general abdominal procedures including the superficial o
 rgans. An integrated approach of lecture, demonstrations, hands-on sca
 nning experience with models, and correlation of ultrasound appearance
  of normal versus abnormal tissues is used. The basics of instrumentat
 ion and the physics of ultrasound, relating to maximizing the image ar
 e reinforced in the laboratory. The class is from 8 AM to 5 PM with a 
 lunch hour. A variety of ultrasound equipment is available in the scan
  lab. A complete two-week program can be accomplished with this course
