 trasound (5 Days)\nThis five-day program is directed toward general ab
 dominal procedures including the superficial organs. An integrated app
 roach of lecture, demonstrations, hands-on scanning experience with mo
 dels, and correlation of ultrasound appearance of normal versus abnorm
 al tissues is used. The basics of instrumentation and the physics of u
 ltrasound, relating to maximizing the image are reinforced in the labo
 ratory. The class is from 8 AM to 5 PM with a lunch hour. A variety of
  ultrasound equipment is available in the scan lab. A complete two-wee
 k program can be accomplished with this course followed by the five da
