SUMMARY:Abdominal Ultrasound (3 Day Live Event)
DESCRIPTION:The focus of this three day course is to provide participa
 nts with the confidence necessary to complete an abdominal ultrasound 
 based on AIUM protocols. The course covers the basic protocols involve
 d in an examination and general use of the ultrasound system. Normal a
 natomy of the liver, gall bladder, kidneys, spleen, abdominal vessels,
  and pancreas will be discussed. Also included are soft tissue applica
 tions and abdominal Doppler. The participants will gain experience thr
 ough lecture and faculty supervised hands on scanning. This format all
 ows each participant ample opportunity to gain the knowledge and confi
 dence needed to independently perform a basic abdominal ultrasound.\n\
