 ne-day seminar provides an overview of abdominal vasculature and hemod
 ynamics, and diagnostic criteria suitable for anyone from an experienc
 ed sonographer to the beginner. Our scan lab and state of the art equi
 pment, along with our low student instructor ratios allow you plenty o
 f time to perfect your protocol, and acquire the scanning experience n
 ecessary to perform diagnostic abdominal vascular exams.\n*This course
  can be taken individually as a two (2) day course OR part of the Vas
 cular Ultrasound seven (7) day course.\n\nObjectives At the completio
 n of this course, the learner will be able to:\n\n\nCorrectly identify
  vessel anatomy and orientation in an abdominal vascular ultrasound ex
 amination to include renal, portal venous system, and mesenteric vesse
 ls.\nIdentify the variations in instrumentation and Doppler principles
  and the effects in scanning parameters.\nDescribe the flow characteri
 stics and the manifestations of disease processes.\nAnalyze the result
 s of an abdominal vascular exam for pathological conditions and in cer
 tain cases, quantify the diseases.\nIdentify additional resource infor
