 , Colorado\n\nABOUT THE MEETING\n\nThis symposium is structured to pro
 vide a review of musculoskeletal MRI. During the course, a balance of 
 traditional clinical topics and state of the art techniques and applic
 ations will be presented. Insight to the combined clinical and diagnos
 tic benefits of musculoskeletal MRI is also included. The focus of thi
 s symposium is to improve diagnostic capabilities and expand clinical 
 applications. Faculty have been selected for their teaching ability, a
 s well as for their expertise.\n\nTARGET AUDIENCE\n\nThis CME activity
  is primarily intended and designed to educate diagnostic imaging phys
 icians who supervise and interpret musculoskeletal MRI studies. Referr
 ing physicians, neurosurgeons, and orthopedic surgeons who order these
  studies and wish to gain a greater appreciation of the strengths and 
 limitations of musculoskeletal MRI should also find this course benefi
 cial. It should also be valuable for MR technologists.\n\nEDUCATIONAL 
 OBJECTIVES\nAttendees should, at the completion of this course, be abl
 e to:\n\n• Implement appropriate imaging protocols for the evaluatio
 n of joint and spine disorders\n• Assess patients with joint patholo
 gy in a non-invasive manner utilizing MRI\n• Apply MR imaging techni
 ques for the assessment and management of various sports related injur
 ies\n• Differentiate the MR appearance of musculoskeletal pathology 
 from other causes of abnormal signal\n• Evaluate musculoskeletal neo
 plasms and pathology using state of the art MR imaging techniques and 
 applications\n• Compare and contrast surgical and radiological findi
 ngs of musculoskeletal pathology and trauma\n• Discuss the clinical 
 application of image guided musculoskeletal biopsy procedures\n\nNo sp
