 nHigh quality mammographic images have a direct impact on the quality 
 of care for patients being evaluated for breast cancer.\nThe MTMI Mamm
 ography Course for Technologists continues its reputation as the premi
 er training course for mammography technologists and includes 8 hours 
 introduction to digital mammography as required by MQSA for operations
  of digital mammography devices.\nThis comprehensive course uses lectu
 re sessions, radiographs and hands-on training sessions with live mode
 ls to enhance your skills and understanding of the mammography process
 . Quality control, technologist responsibilities for quality assurance
 , positioning with breast implants as required by MQSA and film critiq
 ue are also covered.\n\nExtended clinical training is available on a l
 imited basis for technologists wishing to complete their 25 supervised
  exams.\n\nThese courses provide Category A credits approved by the AR
 RT. The 40 hour MTMI course is highly recommended and includes film cr
 itique, breast pathology and advanced hands-on positioning, as well as
  a digital mammography introduction. A short-course consisting of the 
 first 3 days can be taken for 27.5 hours of credit. (For attendees fro
 m Michigan, radiation rule 625 requirements can be satisfied in the 3-
 day course with completion a supplemental activity).\nA certificate of
  attendance will be provided for each individual upon completion of th
 e course. All attendees must attend the entire course to receive full
