iption:ABOUT THE MEETING\nHealth care reform in the United States has
been passed and is currently being implemented in earnest. Changes wil
l continue to occur rapidly regardless of which party wins the next fe
deral election in 2012. The impact on radiology has already been profo
und and the need to be both informed and prepared has never been great
er. Last year's symposium predicted many of these changes. This year,
the faculty will provide attendees with unique, actionable strategies
to position themselves and their practices appropriately.\nTARGET AUDI
ENCE\nThis course is intended for radiologists with leadership positio
ns in their practices and for those who seek the skills to become prac
tice leaders. The information will be valuable for those in private pr
actice, group practice, and academics, and for radiology business exec
utives, particularly those involved with the operations, management, g
rowth, marketing, and infrastructure development of their practices.\n
For maximum impact, groups should consider having both radiologists an
d business executives attend together for more efficient implementatio
n of course information within their practices.\nEDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE
S\nAttendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:\nDe
scribe proposed new payment models and prepare for the roles radiology

ital administrators and managed care entities Develop strategies to pr
