 eeting\nThe election is over and strategies for dealing with a new adm
 inistration must be formulated. Radiologists have never been under mor
 e pressure. Reimbursement is declining, turf battles are escalating, a
 nd hospital contract competition is coming from new and powerful sourc
 es. There is a greater need for radiologists to secure their contracts
 , diversify their income streams, and meet the pressures posed by new 
 players in the diagnostic imaging arena. This symposium is structured 
 to cover major issues and provide practical solutions for radiology le
 aders - both physicians and business executives.\n\nTopics will cover 
 the bread-and-butter issues of running a successful radiology practice
 . Faculty members will discuss such pertinent issues as coding and bil
 ling, conflict management, leadership challenges, commoditization, nat
 ional economic initiatives, the pros and cons of productivity measures
 , exclusivity, and challenges to the future of the specialty. The comp
 rehensive course syllabus should provide substantial take-home informa
 tion that registrants can use as a resource for improving the structur
 e and operations of their practice. The course will be interactive, ut
 ilizing the audience response system to provide immediate feedback. Th
 e registrants will be able to participate in the popular socio-economi
 c data project, comparing their practice with those of the other atten
 dees from throughout the country. The faculty is comprised of national
 ly recognized teachers who have implemented these skills successfully 
 in their own practices and in many others across the country.\n\n----T

 o educate diagnostic imaging physicians, hospital CEOs, CFOs, and Boar
 d members, corporate executives, radiology business managers, reimburs
 ement decision makers, and technical directors of radiology department

 of exclusivity and restrictive covenants in radiology contracts\n\nNo
