 Regional Mammography Course for Technologists continues its reputation
  as the premier training course for mammography technologists. This co
 mprehensive course uses lecture sessions, radiographs and hands-on tra
 ining sessions with live models to enhance your skills and understandi
 ng of the mammography process. Quality control, technologist responsib
 ilities for quality assurance, positioning with breast implants as req
 uired by MQSA, and film critique are also covered.\n\nThese sessions a
 re designed to meet FDA regulatory requirements and for registry exam 
 preparation. The Mammography Quality Standard Act (MQSA) mandates that
  technologists complete 40 hours of documented training specific to ma
 mmography. In addition, 25 mammography exams (not included in this cou
 rse) must be performed under the direct supervision of a qualified mam
 mographer and can be counted toward the 40 hour training requirement.\
 n\nThis program provides Category A continuing education credit approv
 ed by the ASRT. 3 day course provides 27.5 hours of credit and the 5 d
 ay course provides 40 hours. A certificate of attendance will be provi
 ded for each individual upon completion of the course. All attendees m
 ust attend the entire course to receive full credit. Credit from vario
