 PTION:\nThe MTMI Regional Mammography Course for Technologists continu
 es its reputation as the premier training course for mammography techn
 ologists. This comprehensive course uses lecture sessions, radiographs
  and hands-on training sessions with live models to enhance your skill
 s and understanding of the mammography process. Quality control, techn
 ologist responsibilities for quality assurance, positioning with breas
 t implants as required by MQSA, and film critique are also covered.\n\
 nThese sessions are designed to meet FDA regulatory requirements and f
 or registry exam preparation. The Mammography Quality Standard Act (MQ
 SA) mandates that technologists complete 40 hours of documented traini
 ng specific to mammography. In addition, 25 mammography exams (not inc
 luded in this course) must be performed under the direct supervision o
 f a qualified mammographer and can be counted toward the 40 hour train
 ing requirement. Prerequisite for this course is ARRT registration or

 tegory A continuing education credit approved by the ASRT. 3 day cours
 e provides 27.5 hours of credit and the 5 day course provides 40 hours
 . A certificate of attendance will be provided for each individual upo
