 e\n\nFebruary 17-20, 2011\n\nDescription\n\nDue to rapid advances in t
 echnology, radiologists and radiologic technologists often require a c
 omprehensive review of recent advances in computed body tomography. Th
 is activity will focus on 64-slice MDCT and newer systems including du
 al-source CT scanners. The schedule offers a series of 40-minute lectu
 res designed to concentrate on specific topics in-depth, including sta
 te-of-the-art technology and software. Participants will have the oppo
 rtunity to expand their knowledge of the latest concepts and principle
 s of spiral/helical CT, thoracic CT, cardiac CT and CTA, the uses of C
 T in the GI tract, including the liver, spleen and kidneys, as well as
  virtual colonoscopy and imaging the oncologic patient.\n\nObjectives\
 nAfter attending this activity, the participant will demonstrate the a
 bility to:\n\n• Summarize the latest concepts in the chest and cardi
 ac CT, including coronary artery imaging\n• Analyze the newest appli
 cations of 64-slice multidetector/multislice CT\n• Identify the role
  of CT in GI pathology, including virtual colonoscopy\n• Recognize t
 he latest concepts in liver and renal imaging\n• Expand their knowle
 dge in the current role of MDCT/CTA in the evaluation of pancreatic an
 d renal tumors\n• Expand their knowledge in the current role of CT a
