DESCRIPTION:We invite you to join us at this exciting, comprehensive r
 eview and update of the practical aspects of all major subspecialties 
 of Diagnostic Radiology. Our experts are chosen for their excellence a
 s teachers and they will share their clinical expertise and insight to
  help you improve your performance and practice. They will guide you t
 o appropriate use of conventional imaging modalities such as plain fil
 m radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultras
 ound, nuclear medicine and angiography; and when appropriate, they wil
 l emphasize newer important imaging modalities including PET/CT, diffu
 sion weighted MR, cardiac CT, and virtual colonoscopy. Current and fut
 ure trends in radiology informatics will also be explored.Major emphas
 is will be placed on the practical and clinical aspects of Diagnostic 
 Radiology. Diagnostic tips, techniques and pitfalls will be stressed a
 nd differential diagnoses of common radiological findings will be cove
 red. Unknown case reviews will be held after each morning and afternoo
 n lecture session--allowing participants to test themselves in a relax
 ed atmosphere. These popular sessions will stress practical clinical p
 roblems and differential diagnoses. Audience Response System (ARS) tec
 hnology will be used throughout the course and many Self-Assessment Cr
 edits (SAMs) will be offered.We hope that you will join us for the 18t
