dge yet practical approach to the clinical applications of MRI and CT.
Topics include neuroimaging, peripheral and cardiac angiography, body
imaging, and musculoskeletal applications. Also included is an update
d and comprehensive review of contrast administration and radiation do
se reduction techniques. Principles of image display and basic post pr
ocessing will be demonstrated with interactive workstation presentatio
ns throughout the program. Emphasis of this meeting is on the practica
l clinical uses of new technologies. Faculty members have been selecte
d for their teaching ability, as well as their expertise.\n\nWorkstati

educating referring physicians who order MRI and CT procedures, as wel
 l as radiologic technologists.\n\nEDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES\n\nAttendees
should, at the completion of this course, be able to:\n\n• Compare t
he clinical indications for CT and MR imaging for acute stroke.\n• C
ompare the use of CT and MRI in the evaluation of various neurologic,
body and angiographic applications.\n• Discuss current safety regula
tions and guidelines as they apply to imaging contrast administration.
\n• Assess patients with a variety of cardiac and vascular abnormali
ties using both MRI and CT.\n• Develop clinical protocols for effect
ive use of MR and CT in the evaluation of the cardiovascular system.\n
 • Incorporate state-of-the-art CT Colonoscopy imaging and review pro
tocols into clinical practice.\n• Implement state-of- the-art imagin
g protocols and techniques for evaluation of the musculoskeletal syste
m into clinical practice.\n\nNo special educational preparation is req
uired for this CME activity.\n\nACCREDITATION\n\nPhysicians: Education
al Symposia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing medical education for
