Hi everyone my name is Dr.Mechris Mango,radiologist from Tanzania,currently based in Nairobi kenya,working at mri/ct imaging centre,am particulary interested in neuroradiology and research,just to keep intouch with the rest of the world i thought is a good idea interacting with you guys.thanx

Hi Dr Mechris Mango , good to have you here on this forum, and was wondering whats the state of radiology in Tanzania? How many CT /MR centers, are they mostly in hospitals or indepedant outpatient centers. hi Metupalle,radiology in Tanzania is still at its infancy stage,but there is voluminous radiology work,there are about 8 CT scanners at least two 64slice-phillips,three 1.5T MRI machine.most of them are hospital based i think only one is for outpatient.about teleradiology,i hearsd there is one southafrican hospital operating in Tanzania who are outsourcing from India.thanx if you have more questions feel free to ask,have a nicer day.
