Subspecialty and Expertise in Radiology: Currently studying for RT (R) and then onto (T)

I've been working at Vandy since October. I started as a student tech and that position helped me get on as a temporary RT(R) employee. I'm sure the next step is full time! I started off Sumner Regional then to Vandy before ending up at St Thomas. I loved Sumner. Vandy was very busy and interesting to be at as a student. You get to see a lot of stuff. St Thomas was slow compared to both Sumner and Vandy.

As for considering a different modality, I am thinking about CT but have not started that way yet. I am also considering getting into PACS administration. I worked in the computer field for a long time and with that in my background I am told it would be a benefit. We will see! I like working with people and General Radiology fits my personality.

When do you start classes? Be prepared to study AND read Terri Seals' questions very carefully!!! I look forward to seeing you at Vandy when you get there. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you.
